'As soon as she came to power on 22 October 2022, Giorgia Meloni promised a major change in politics and Italy's return to an important role in Europe and on the international stage.' This study assesses the two years of the Meloni government in Italy and looks at the country's relations with its French neighbour as well as its place within the European Union.

This study provides a mid-term review of the three years of operation of the European Defence Fund to inform future decisions on European defence.

Donald Trump's return to the White House confirms, after a first term marked by an attempt to buy Greenland, that the Arctic island is a critical geopolitical issue for the United States - and that it should also be for the European Union. At a time when the new American President is making more and more statements about Greenland, this study looks at the geostrategic issues at stake in this autonomous Danish territory at the gateway to the Arctic.

Since 1 January, Poland has held the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
