60 years after the death of Robert Schuman, one of the Fathers of Europe, Grand Est-Europe, the Permanent Representation of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the European Union and the Permanent Representation of France to the European Union, in cooperation with the Robert Schuman Foundation and the European Movement - International are organising the Agora Schuman on 28th November 2023: "What kind of Europe do we want by 2029?

The Agora Schuman aims to advance the debate on the future of the European Union, to go beyond technical discussions and to recall the importance of democratic issues and European citizenship. It highlights the links between the various levels and recalls the strong link between Robert Schuman and his region, which lies at the heart of the history of European integration and is home to several European institutions.

With the European elections just a few months away, this event will focus on the future of Europe, a Europe challenged by numerous crises, ranging from the COVID-19 health crisis to the energy crisis and the war in Ukraine. This sequence will provide an opportunity to discuss the issues involved in deepening European policies, as well as the EU's neighbourhood policy and the prospect of EU enlargement.
