Montenegro's Membership of the European Union: what are the issues at stake?

Patrice Verchère, MP and Chairman of the France-Montenegro Friendship Group at the National Assembly, Jean-Dominique Giuliani, Chairman of the Robert Schuman Foundation, François Badie, magistrate and head of the Central Department for the Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) at the Justice Ministry,spoke on the issues at stake in this integration and the work to be done in terms of the fight to counter corruption and the respect of fundamental rights. Mitja Drobnic and the Secretary of State for the European Integration of Montenegro, Aleksandar Pejovic, as well as several other personalities took part in this event. The Robert Schuman Foundation, loyal to its commitment to Francophonie also signed a protocole with the Petrovic Njegos Foundation for the organisation of French lessons for the inhabitants of in Cetinje, the historic capital of Montenegro.
